(Elizabethtown, KY) - While on patrol on I-65 Trooper Dennis Wells was flagged down by a passing motorist with a complaint of a possible drunk driver. Motorist had advised the Trooper that the vehicle was weaving from lane to lane and gave a description of the vehicle.

Trooper Wells was able to catch up to the vehicle and did observe erratic driving. A traffic stop was initiated and during the process of checking the license plate for information it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen from Calhoun, Georgia. The vehicle had been stolen on September the 4th at approximately 02:30 AM. After an investigation was conducted it was discovered that the driver was in fact a thirteen (13) year old female runaway from Calhoun, Georgia. The female had stolen her uncle's vehicle, a 1998 Ford F-150 and had run away from home. The female had driven from Georgia into Tennessee and 92-miles trough Kentucky before she had been stopped.
