Two Escape From the Bullitt County Jail Are Apprehended

(Elizabethtown, KY) - At approximately 3:00 PM yesterday, the two escapees (Anthony Wayne Sherill and Joseph T. McCauley) from the Bullitt County Jail were located and apprehended at a business in Indianapolis. Both suspects were arrested by officers from the Indianapolis Police Department after they responded to a business where two suspects had reportedly attempted to shoplift shoes. Both suspects are being held in Indianapolis on local charges. Extradition back to Kentucky is pending.
