Injury Crash on I-65 in Hardin County, KY

(Elizabethtown, KY) - Doyle Cooper was traveling southbound on I-65. Mr. Cooper exited I-65 at the Glendale exit at the 86 mile marker. Mr. Cooper stated his brakes failed at the top of the exit ramp. Mr. Cooper ran a stop sign. Mr. Cooper's vehicle veered to the right to avoid another vehicle due to speed and driver's steering to avoid another vehicle Mr. Cooper's vehicle veered hard to the right causing his vehicle to overturn and slide off roadway coming to final rest.

Mr. Cooper was treated at the scene by Hardin County EMS and was taken from scene by LifeNet to University of Louisville Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
