KSP Felony Arrest in Butler County

(BOWLING GREEN, KY) - On 12/21/2006 Kentucky State Police received a call of an unknown person inside of a residence at 3670 Russellville Road in Butler County. Upon units arrival several items were recovered from the suspect that were taken from the residence. Suspect was charged with listed charges and lodged in the Butler County Jail. Investigation is on going.

The suspect is identified as Joey Shemwell age 36 of Browder, KY. He was charged with Receiving Stolen Property-Firearm, Possession of Controlled Substance 2nd Offense and was lodged in Butler County Jail.
