Armed Kidnapping Investigation and Arrest in Warren County, KY

(BOWLING GREEN, Ky.) - KSP received a complaint from Robert Trent advising Terry Cline came to his residence and kidnapped his mother, Michelle Forrest, at gun point. While in the vehicle, the perpetrator told the female he was going to kill her, his estranged wife, Bridgett Cline, and then himself. After they traveled several miles, the male subject demanded the female pull over. After exiting the vehicle, the perpetrator pointed the firearm at the female and the female at that point, accelerated the vehicle and got away. A few miles down the road, the female lost control of the vehicle striking a telephone pole. The victim was located at the scene of the accident. Units followed several leads as to the whereabouts of the perpetrator. At 0830 hours KSP and Bowling Green City Police took the subject into custody without incident. A 22 Calibur Smith and Wesson was recovered at the time of arrest. Terry Lewis Cline dob/19630907 was charged with Kidnapping and was lodged in the Warren County Regional Jail.
