Criminal Arrest in Caldwell County

Madisonville, KY. - On December 11, 2006, Trooper McPherson, Trooper Smith, Trooper Threatt, and the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office responded to 4671 Cadiz Road in Princeton reference a shots fired complaint. The initial complaint provided information that the victim, Michael Haberlock, and one of the suspects, Ryan Thorpe, had been involved in an ongoing dispute for several days. Troopers arrived at the scene and confirmed that Mr. Haberlock had pulled into the driveway at Mr. Bell's residence at 4671 Cadiz Road. At that time, Mr. Thorpe and Mr. Bell began shooting at Mr. Haberlock's truck. Mr. Haberlock then drove away and pulled over approximately 1 mile up the road. His truck sustained damage to both driver's side tires and the radiator. Mr. Thorpe was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree and Disorderly Conduct. Mr. Bell was charged with Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree. Both subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail.
