Madisonville, KY. - On December 10, 2006, Trooper McPherson conducted a traffic stop in Nortonville, KY. The search of occupants revealed that the operator, Joseph Ladd, was in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. A passenger, Kimberly Abbott, was found to be in possession of a single Dilaudid pill. The vehicle search revealed a gas can that contained several hypodermic needles and smoke straws in it. Mr. Ladd, Mrs. Abbott, and the other three passengers were arrested and transported to the Hopkins County Detention Center.
