Drug Arrest in Hopkins County
Date of News Release: 11/20/2006
Hopkins County - Tpr. Nick Rice conducted a traffic stop on Mr. Geary for disregarding a stop sign on KY 2171 on November 19, 2006 at approximately 2:09 a.m. During the course of the traffic stop, Mr. Geary exhibited nervous behavior and appeared to be confused. After further investigation, Tpr. Rice determined that Mr. Geary was operating a motor vehicle under the influence. During a consensual search of Mr. Geary's vehicle, Tpr. Rice located meth and drug paraphernalia. Mr. Geary was arrested without incident and charged with the following offenses:
Possession of a Controlled Substance 1st Degree 2nd Offense
Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense
DUI 1st
Disregarding a Stop Sign
He was lodged in the Hopkins County Jail.
