Drug Related Arrest in Webster County

Webster County - While on patrol, Sergeant Murray observed Mr. Stallins running onto the property at Crop Production Services in Slaughters, KY, at 1:17 a.m. Sergeant Murray attempted to stop Mr. Stallins and ascertain his reason for being on the property at that time of morning. Upon seeing Sergeant Murray, Mr. Stallins dropped an igloo cooler, fled to a nearby creek and jumped in. He could not be immediately located, therefore, local Search and Rescue Departments were called to assist in locating Mr. Stallins. After approximately thirty-seven minutes in the water, Mr. Stallins was located near a tree and pulled to safety by Sergeant Murray and Trooper Braden. A search of his clothing revealed a pack of lithium batteries, coffee filters, and crushed pseudo-ephedrine pills. He was immediately turned over to Webster County EMS and transported to Regional Medical Center for treatment of hypothermia. Upon release from RMC, Mr. Stallins was transported to the Webster County Detention Center and lodged for his offenses. He was also served with 8 outstanding warrants from Hopkins County.

Timothy Stallins was charged with Criminal Tresspass 3rd Degree, Fleeing and Evading Police 1st Degree, Wanton Endangerment 1st Degree (2 Counts), Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine Precursors, Attempted Theft of Anhydrous Ammonia With the Intent to Manufacture Methamphetamine .
