Illegal Sale of Alcohol Arrest in Marion, KY

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - On Thursday, November 16, 2006 at approximately 10:45 p.m., officers from the Kentucky State Police, Marion Police Department, Crittenden County Sheriff's Department and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force executed a search warrant at the Fraternal Order of Eagles located 130 Old Piney Road in Marion.
Officers confiscated 2,257 cans of beer and 17 bottles of wine and liquor. The bartender, Ocotlan K. Cole age 50 of Marion, KY, was cited to court for the following offenses:
- Illegal Sale of Alcohol-Dry Territory 1st Offense (B Misdemeanor)
- Unlicensed Sale of Alcohol 1st Offense (B Misdemeanor)
The Fraternal Order of Eagles was cited for Illegal Sale of Alcohol in Dry Territory 3rd Offense (D Felony) and Unlicensed Sale of Alcohol 2nd Offense (A Misdemeanor).
Tpr. Matt Foster is the investigating officer. The Marion Police Department, Crittenden County Sheriff's Department and the Pennyrile Narcotics Task Force assisted at the scene.
