Update to Cold Case Murder Arrest

Update

On Friday, November 03, 2006 investigators with the Kentucky State Police Post 2-Madisonville executed arrest warrants on Jeffrey L. Boyd age 43 of Central City, KY at the State Penitentiary in Eddyville, KY. Boyd is one of the subjects who are suspected of being involved in the murder of Corrina Mullen. Boyd was already incarcerated at the penitentiary on unrelated charges. He remains lodged there. Boyd was charged with the following:

Charges: Murder (A Felony) Rape 1st Degree (B Felony) Kidnapping (B Felony)

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) - On Thursday, November 02, 2006 investigators with the Kentucky State Police Post 2-Madisonville arrested three (3) subjects in reference to a 19-year old murder case. The case was reassigned to Investigator Damon Fleming approximately 5 months ago. After discovering new evidence in the case, Investigator Fleming consulted with the Muhlenberg County Attorney, Darris Russell. Arrest warrants were issued for several subjects who are suspected of being involved in the murder of Corrina Mullen age 20 of Central City, KY in October of 1987. Three suspects have been arrested. They are:

Charges: Complicity to Murder (A Felony) Complicity to Rape 1st Degree (B Felony) Complicity to Kidnapping (B Felony)
Lodged: Muhlenberg County Detention Center
Jimmie D. Cramer	Age: 37	Sex: M	Address: Central City, KY
Charges: Murder (A Felony) Rape 1st Degree (B Felony) Kidnapping (B Felony)
Lodged: Christian County Detention Center

The Kentucky State Police expect more arrests in the near future. The Central City Police Department and the Muhlenberg County Coroner's Office assisted the Kentucky State Police with the investigation.
