Injury Crash on US 60 in Crittenden County

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - Erika D. McKendree age 17 of Marion, KY was operating a 1996 Ford Taurus westbound on US 60 when she rounded a curve in the roadway. Another vehicle traveling eastbound on US 60 had crossed the centerline. McKendree swerved to avoid the other vehicle. She overcorrected and lost control of her vehicle. Her vehicle slid off the roadway and overturned coming to rest on its top. McKendree was transported by ambulance to the Crittenden County Hospital for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Matthew Foster investigated the crash that occurred on November 1, 2006 at 11: 35 a.m. Crittenden County EMS and the Kentucky Highway Department assisted at the scene.
