Injury Crash on US 62 in Central City, KY

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Sarah A. Decker age 27 of Echols, KY was operating a 1995 Plymouth Neon eastbound on US 62. She lost control of the vehicle on the wet roadway. The vehicle exited off the right shoulder and struck a tree causing it to overturn. The vehicle came to rest on its passenger side. Decker had to be extricated by mechanical means. She was transported by ambulance to the Ohio County Hospital for treatment. She was not wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Craig Engler investigated the crash that occurred on October 16, 2006 at 2:33 p.m. Central City Fire & Rescue, Nelson Creek Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
