Injury Crash on Edward T. Breathitt Parkway in Hopkins County

Madisonville, KY (Hopkins County) - Drew Brewer age 19 of Madisonville, KY was operating a 2000 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck southbound on the Edward T. Breathitt Parkway when he apparently fell asleep. The vehicle traveled into the median. Mr. Brewer was able to bring the vehicle out of the median, but then lost control of it. The vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top in the southbound lanes. Mr. Brewer was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. He was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Michael Dennis investigated the crash that occurred on September 28, 2006 at 12:49 p.m. Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
