Drug Arrest in Muhlenberg County

(Muhlenberg County) - On September 24th, 2006 Tpr Jeff McWhorter made a traffic stop on an older model Chevrolet pickup truck in the limits of South Carrollton. Thomas Simpson the driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI. After a search of the vehicle approximately 20grams of crystal meth and a small amount of marijuana were discovered. Thomas Simpson was arrested and charged with DUI 1^st, Trafficking a Controlled Substance 1^st Degree - Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana, and Possession of a Controlled Substance 1^st Degree - Methamphetamine. He was lodged in the Muhlenberg County Jail.
