Cultivating Marijuana Arrest in Caldwell County

On Thursday, September 21, 2006 at approximately 1:00 p.m., troopers and detectives from the Kentucky State Police Post 2-Madisonville executed a search warrant at a residence located at 7429 State Route 672 approximately 7.6 miles south of Princeton. By following up on a tip from another police agency, officers were able to obtain information that lead to the issuing of the search warrant.
Troopers and detectives discovered marijuana and drug paraphernalia inside the residence and in an outbuilding behind the residence. Officers seized approximately 300 pounds of marijuana during the raid. It is valued at approximately $600,000. Also seized during the raid was drug paraphernalia (scales, rolling papers, heaters, freezer bags), cash and four vehicles.
There were seven people inside the residence when the search warrant was executed. All seven subjects were arrested and charged with Cultivating Marijuana Over 5 Pounds (C Felony) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 2nd Offense (D Felony). All seven subjects were lodged in the Caldwell County Jail. The seven subjects arrested are listed below.
