Trafficking Marijuana Arrest in Caldwell County

(Caldwell County, KY) - On September 05th, Chief Shane Allison of the Eddyville Police Department notified KSP of a drug tip in Caldwell County. After further investigation, a search warrant was obtained for the residence of Jonathan Ketchey. As the officers arrived they met Jonathan driving his vehicle on the roadway. Units found marijuana in the vehicle along with an open beer can between his legs with two of his children sitting in the passenger seat. Officers continued to the residence to serve the search warrant and more marijuana, approximately 13 ounces, was found in the house. Also found was fresh marijuana plant stalks in the back yard. The charges were firearm enhanced due to firearms being located in the house.
- Jonathan R Ketchey, age 34 of Princeton, KY was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Trafficking Marijuana, Failure to use Child Restraint, DUI 3rd, Driving DUI suspended, Possession of Alcoholic Beverage in Motor Vehicle and was lodged in the Caldwell County Jail
- Opal M Ketchey, age 38 of Princeton KY was charged with Possession of Marijuana, Trafficking Marijuana and was cited to Court
