Injury Crash on Pennyrile Parkway in Webster County

(Webster County) - Franklin C. Lincoln was Southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway at the 64 mile marker when for an unknown reason his truck began to steer to the left. Mr. Lincoln's vehicle entered the median, struck the guardrail, and continued travelling across both Northbound Lanes of travel. Mr. Lincoln's vehicle then began to jack knife, and overturned on it's passengers side. As Mr. Lincoln's vehicle was sliding on it's side it continued off the Northbound shoulder of the road striking the guardrail causing it to break. Mr. Lincoln's vehicle then flipped on it's top as it traveled down a steep embankment. It came to final rest on it's top off of the northbound shoulder of the road. Mr. Lincoln was freed by extrication and transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center Hospital in Madisonville,KY.
