Injury Crash on KY 70 in Central City

Central City, KY (Muhlenberg County) - Marty L. Crick age 38 of White Plains, KY was operating a 2003 Chevrolet Silverado eastbound on KY 70 when he swerved to avoid striking a deer. The vehicle exited off the right shoulder of the roadway and traveled down an embankment. The vehicle struck a tree and came to rest. Mr. Crick and his passenger, Robert L. Johnson age 61 of White Plains, KY, were transported by ambulance to the Muhlenberg Community Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Both subjects were wearing seatbelts. Tpr. Jerrod Hearld investigated the crash that occurred on August 15, 2006 at 11: 00 a.m. The Bremen Volunteer Fire Department and Muhlenberg County EMS assisted at the scene.
