Injury Crash on Pennyrile Parkway in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - Mr. Walter Garris was traveling Southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway at a approx. 40 mph. Mrs. Chandra Shadrick was traveling Southbound on the Pennyrile Parkway. As Mrs. Shadrick approached Mr. Garris she swerved into the left hand lane in an attempt to avoid a collision. The drivers side tires of Mrs. Shadrick's vehicle dropped off of the edge of the roadway causing her vehicle to rotate clockwise. Mrs. Shadrick's vehicle then rolled numerous times coming to final rest upright facing north on the southbound side of the parkway. Mrs. Shadrick and her juvenile passenger were transported to Regional Medical Center via Med Center Ambulance.
