Madisonville Man Arrested on Several Drug and Forgery Charges

(Madisonville, KY) - Trooper McPherson observed a vehicle left abandoned in the road way, while at the vehicle he noticed a male subject (Robert Shane Fowler) walking back to the vehicle with a gas can. Mr. Fowler had ran out of gas Trooper McPherson recognized vehicle description from a drug tip from last date. Mr. Fowler denied consent to search.

Madisonville police department canine unit indicated on vehicle, a hand search revealed Possession Of Controled Substance 1st Degree 1st Offense, Knowingly Possessing Anhydrous Ammonia (Other Than Approved Container) With Intent To Manufacture Meth 1st, Manufacturing Meth 1st, Drug Paraphernalia Buy/Possess 1st Offense items. Also found were 13 forged Kentucky and Indiana operator license, along with a printer and photo scanner. Robert Fowler was arrested and lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
