Injury Crash on US 60 in Marion, KY

Date of News Release: 07/28/2006

Marion, KY (Crittenden County) - Amanda Michonski age 20 of Salem, KY was operating a 2006 Chevrolet Cobalt eastbound on US 60 when she reached for food that she had purchased at a drive-thru. Her vehicle dropped off the right side of the roadway and she overcorrected. The vehicle crossed both lanes of travel and exited the left side of the roadway. The vehicle struck an embankment and overturned. The vehicle came to rest upright facing south off the left side of the roadway. She was transported by ambulance to the Crittenden County Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. She was wearing a seatbelt. Tpr. Mike Ray investigated the crash that occurred on July 26, 2006 at 2:20 p.m. Crittenden County EMS and the Kentucky Highway Department assisted at the scene.
