Theft by Failure to Make Required Disposition in Hopkins County

(Hopkins County) - KSP Post 2 Criminal Investigations was requested by County Attorney Bob Moore to investigate a theft from a Hopkins County woman. On 05-23-06, Mrs. Austin, a widow, had paid Glenn to install a garage door on her property. He never returned to complete the work after he had been paid money for the job. County Attorney Bob Moore and his staff assisted Sgt.Blackburn in the apprehension of Glenn. Glenn was arrested in Henderson on 7-27-06 by Sgt. Stacey Blackburn. Sgt. Blackburn cautions elderly persons about becoming victims of this type crime. Please check the credentials of persons you may hire to perform ANY task. Glenn, AKA-Chad, was lodged in the Hopkins County Detention Center.
