Injury Crash on US 41A in Nebo, KY

Date of News Release: 07/18/2006

Nebo, KY (Hopkins County) - Summer Osborne age 18 of Madisonville, KY was operating a 1995 Plymouth Neon southbound on US 41A approximately 2 miles north of Nebo. As she came around a curve in the roadway, she lost control of the vehicle. The vehicle crossed the centerline and exited off the northbound side of the roadway. The vehicle struck a utility pole and came to rest. The driver and both passengers, Amber Woolfork age 18 of Providence, KY and Tyon Smith age 4 months of Madisonville, KY, were transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. Amber Woolfork and Tyon Smith were treated and released. At the present time, Summer Osborne is still at the RMC. Osborne and Woolfork were wearing seatbelts. Tyon Smith was secured in a child restraint. Tpr. Michael Dennis investigated the crash that occurred on July 18, 2006 at 7:45 a.m. Madisonville Fire & Rescue, Medical Center Ambulance Service and Providence EMS assisted at the scene.
