Fatal Motorcycle Crash on KY 139 in Caldwell County

(Caldwell County) - David Kenady was on a motorcycle southbound on KY 139. James Morris, of Princeton, was in a 1999 Chevy truck northbound on KY 139. For an unknown reason, Mr. Kenady crossed the centerline into the northbound lane and struck Mr. Morris head-on. Mr. Kenady was thrown from the motorcycle. The motorcycle came to final rest off the roadway. Mr. Morris' vehicle came to final rest on its side in the middle of the roadway. Mr. Kenady was not wearing a helmet. He was flown to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased at 7:12pm. Mr. Morris, who was wearing a seatbelt, was not injured.
