Injury Crash on US 41 A in Hopkins County, KY

Date of News Release: 06/26/2006

Nebo, KY (Hopkins County) - Jeffery Alex Thomas age 14 of Sturgis, KY was operating an International farm tractor southbound on US 41 A. Linda A. Robinson age 65 of Providence, KY was operating a 1994 Plymouth Voyager southbound on US 41 A behind the farm tractor. Robinson mistook a hand signal from Thomas and started to pass him. Her vehicle struck the left rear tire of the farm tractor causing her to loose control of her vehicle. Her vehicle overturned and came to rest on its top. Robinson was transported by ambulance to the Regional Medical Center for treatment. She was wearing a seatbelt. Thomas was not injured. Tpr. Michael Dennis investigated the crash that occurred on June 26, 2006 at 1:40 p.m. Nebo Fire & Rescue, Manitou Fire & Rescue and Medical Center Ambulance Service assisted at the scene.
