Traffic Stop in Muhlenberg County Leads to a Drug Arrest

(Muhlenberg County, KY) - While on patrol Tpr. Ray observed Mrs. Cynthia Wood driving recklessly on Ky 81 in Bremen. When a traffic stop was initiated, Tpr. Ray requested to search the vehicle and Mrs. Wood complied. Mrs. Wood handed over a large baggy containing marijuana. After the vehicle search was completed a total of 1.79 oz of marijuana, 32.1 grams of Crystal Methamphetamine, $136.00 in cash, two scales, drug packaging material and numerous items of drug paraphernalia were recovered.

Mrs. Wood was charged with Traff in Controlled Subs. 1st, Traff in Marijuana U/8oz, Poss. Of Drug Paraphernalia 1st and lodged in the Muhlenberg County Detention Center.
