Injury Crash on KY 70 in Muhlenberg County, KY

(Muhlenberg County, KY) - Paula Bowen was driving west on KY 70 approximately 1 mile east of the Hopkins County line. Ms. Bowen stated that she lost control of her 1994 Oldsmobile, ran off the left shoulder, overturning and striking trees. The car came to rest in a water filled ditch. A passenger, Virgil Bowen, was also injured in the accident. Both occupants were transported to the Regional Medical Center for treatment of injuries. Neither occupant was wearing a seatbelt. The Kentucky State Police were assisted at the scene by the Graham Fire Department, Area 2 Dive Team, Med Center EMS, and Muhlenberg Co Ems.
