Injury Crash on US 641 in Crittenden County, KY

Date of News Release: 03/09/2006

Crittenden County - Mary Ford age 23 of Marion, KY was operating a 1994 Oldsmobile northbound on US 641 when for an undetermined reason, the vehicle crossed the southbound lane and exited the roadway. The vehicle struck an earth embankment and overturned several times. Ford, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was ejected from the vehicle. The vehicle came to rest upright in a field off the southbound side of the roadway. Ford was transported by ambulance to the Crittenden County Hospital. She was later flown to the Vanderbilt Medical Center by PHI Air Ambulance. The crash remains under investigation by Tpr. Nick Rice. The Crittenden County Sheriff's Department, Crittenden County Fire & Rescue and Crittenden County EMS assisted at the scene.
