Injury Crash on Western Kentucky Parkway in Muhlenberg County, KY

(Muhlenberg County) - Rusty Kerr driving a 2000 International Semi Truck and Paul Y. Bowles driving a 1998 Ford E1 Fire truck of the Graham Fire Department were both westbound on the Western Kentucky Parkway.

Mr. Bowles attempted to turn the fire truck around by crossing the median at the 50mm, after he had responded to an earlier emergency call. Mr. Kerr struck the passenger side rear of the fire truck.

A passenger in the fire truck, Mark Nixon, was transported to the hospital by ambulance. All subjects involved were wearing their seatbelt.

The accident is still under investigation.
