Non-Injury Crash on Western Kentucky Parkway in Hopkins County, KY

(Hopkins County, KY) - Mr. Clarence Nordhoff in an attempt to avoid a vehicle overturned on the eastbound shoulder of the roadway merged into the left hand lane and lost control of his vehicle. The vehicle crossed the median and both westbound lanes of the Parkway. The vehicle then entered a ditch on the westbound shoulder of the roadway, continued approx. 154 feet losing the front axle and rupturing the diesel tank of the vehicle. Mr. Nordhoff's vehicle came to final rest upright in the ditch on the westbound shoulder of the roadway.
