Assault 2nd Degree Investigation in Princeton, KY

Princeton, KY (Caldwell County) - On Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at 3:44 p.m. CST, the Kentucky State Police Post 2 in Madisonville received a call reference a shooting complaint. The location of the complaint was at a residence on North Creswell Church Road approximately 9 miles north of Princeton.

The victim, Mike Towery age 35 of Princeton, KY, was home alone when an intruder entered his residence and fired multiple shots at him. Mr. Towery was transported by ambulance to the Caldwell County Hospital for treatment of wounds to his chest and arm. He was treated and released.

The suspect then fled the scene in a vehicle in an unknown direction. At the present time, there is no description of the vehicle or the suspect.

The investigation is continuing by Detective Devin Brewer.
