Emergency Plane Landing on the Parkway in Christian County, KY

David Hardin was flying a Cessna 152 from Hopkinsville Airport in a west direction, upon climbing to 600 ft. the planes engine stopped. Mr. Hardin looked for a safe place to make the emergency landing, the only place was the Parkway south bound. The plane struck a couple of power lines on the way down, no damage at the scene or to any private property.

No one was injured; the plane was towed back to the airport by the mechanic. The Kentucky State Police and Hopkinsville City Police were escorting the tow back to the airport.
