Injury Crash on KY 121 in Calloway County

(Calloway County) - Trooper Bowman was travelling north on KY 121 responding to a reported accident with injuries on Airport Road. Trooper Bowman had his emergency equipment operating, when a vehicle driven by Morgan Eli also travelling North on KY 121 turned into Trooper Bowman's path resulting in a collision. Trooper Bowman and Ms Eli received minor injuries. Ms Eli was transported to Murray/Calloway hospital where she received treatment. Trooper Bowman also received minor injuries, however, he declined treatment. Ms Eli was cited to court for traffic violations. The Kentucky State Police was assisted by the Murray Police Department, and the Murray Fire Department. The investigation is continuing by Sgt Dodd, U/169.
