Resisting Arrest in Graves County

(Graves County, KY) - While on a harassment call on Jimtown Road, Troopers Tim Sales and Trey Green were approached by a third party that advised him a vehicle being operated by the alledged harassing party was just leaving the area and had possibly been involved in the kidnapping of a woman.
Troopers Green and Sales observed suspect vehicle leaving Jimtown Road with its taillights off. Both units activated their emergency equipment, at which time the suspect sped away at a high rate of speed. The suspect vehicle fled down Jimtown Road and turned onto Rogers Loop. After proceeding a short while down Rogers, the suspect vehicle turned onto Shelton Road. After proceeding down Shelton, the subject pulled off into a soybean field. Trooper Green's vehicle became lodged in a ditch, but Trooper Sales the pursued subject into the field and through two creeks before the suspect stopped.
Trooper Sales apprehended the suspect at this time. Mr Suiter was transported to the Graves County Jail, where he was lodged for Resisting Arrest, Failure to Comply with Traffic Officer Signal, DUI 2ND Aggravating, Driving DUI Suspended 2nd Aggravating, No Taillamps, No Insurance, Failure of Owner to Maintain Required Insurance 1st, Fleeing and Evading 1st, License Plate Not Illuminated, Open Alcoholic Beverage Container, Wanton Endangerment 1st, Failure to Notify DOT of Address Change, Expired Registration Receipt by Trooper Sales. Further investigation revealed that the woman had not been kidnapped, but was riding with the subject of her own free will.
