Fulton County High School Bomb Threat Investigation

(Fulton County, KY) - Kentucky State Police Mayfield was contacted by the Fulton County High School's assessment team at approximately 1315 hours advising of a bomb threat at the high school.

A note was discovered in one of the bathrooms advising of the bomb. A search of the building was conducted and no device was located. Preliminary investigation by Detective George Bell produced three suspects.

After speaking with the suspects and obtaining confessions, two male juveniles were charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd and lodged in McCracken County Juvenile Detention Center in Paducah.

Also arrested and charged with Terroristic Threatening 2nd was Wesley Blasingim of Hickman, KY. Mr. Blasingim was lodged in the Fulton County Detention Center.

Detective Bell was assisted by the Fulton County Sheriffs Department, Hickman City Police Department, Fulton County School officials, Fulton County Attorney's Office, and the Fulton County Court Designated Worker's Office. The investigation is on going by Detective George Bell u/344.
