Fatal Crash on US Highway 68 in Trigg County, KY

Date of News Release: 01/18/2006

(Trigg County, KY) - Howard D. Sulver Jr., was traveling eastbound on US Highway 68 when he lost control of his vehicle on an ice and slush mix. Mr. Sulver's vehicle began to rotate counter clockwise and traveled off the left side of the roadway and overturned. Mr. Sulver's vehicle came to final rest on its top.

Mr. Sulver was transported to Trigg County ER where he was treated and released for minor injuries. The passenger (Janice E. Sulver) of the vehicle was pronounced dead on the scene by Trigg County Deputy Coroner John Mark Vinson.

Trooper Crawford was assisted on the scene by Trooper Richard Wright, Sgt. Janet Gabbard, The Trigg County Sheriff's Department, Trigg County Rescue, US Department of Forestry, and Trigg County EMS.
