Kentucky State Police receives donation from Kentucky Elks President

(Henderson, KY) - An image of  Bob Mitchell of Henderson secretary treasurer, Mary Gleason, Ruler of the Morgantown Elk's Lodge 2837, Trooper Todd Holder Post 3 Bowling Green, Tommy Harrell Kentucky State Elk's PresidentTrooper Todd Holder receives a one thousand dollar donation from the state Elk's president for Trooper Island. Saturday, September 23rd, 2006, the Kentucky Elk's lodges have committed to a five thousand-dollar donation to support Trooper Island over a five-year period. This check presentation was held at the Morgantown Lodge 2837.

Trooper Island is a camp, which was established in 1965 and serves around 800 children each year from across Kentucky. There are no cost to attend the camp for the boys and girls ranging from 10-12 years old. We are very glad to have groups such as the Elk's clubs to be a part of our program.
