An Owensboro Man Arrested for Receiving Stolen Property Over $300.00

(Henderson, KY) - On 07/06/2006 Kentucky State Police, Trooper McKee, arrested 18 years of age Kyle Hayden of Owensboro, KY. Hayden was charged with receiving stolen property over $300.00 which is a class C Felony. On 07/05/2006 Kentucky State Police obtained consent to search 4345 Yewells Landing East in Owensboro, KY belonging to Hayden's mother, after receiving information. A search of the garage revealed a 2003 Yamaha Raptor Belonging to Jeremy Cole of Philpot, KY. Further information led to the recovery of a 2000 Yamaha TTR in Calhoun, KY at Hayden's fathers residence, belonging to Max Hartz of Owensboro, KY. Both recovered items were reported stolen from Cycle Works 12/22/2005. Investigation also led to the recovery of specialty tires and rims that were taken from Tapp Motors. Hayden rendered a written statement admitting to the offense. Hayden is currently lodged in the Daviess County Detention Center. Three other males, believed to be involved have not yet been questioned.
