Injury Crash on US 60 in Henderson County, KY

(Henderson, KY) - The Morganfield Police Department responded to a Robbery/Attempted Murder in Dunbar Park, Morganfield. A 1996 blue Cadillac fled the scene and was located by Kentucky State Police on US 60 west of Henderson. The trooper attempted a traffic stop and the Cadillac fled into the limits of Henderson. Units with the Kentucky State Police and Henderson Police Dept. pursued the Cadillac through Henderson and eastbound on US 60. Near the intersection of US 60 and Country Club Dr. the Cadillac struck a 1996 green Aerostar van driven by Retha S. Eshbaugh. The Eshbaugh van overturned and the Cadillac left the roadway and into a yard near the golf course. Three of the four occupants in the Cadillac fled on foot and were located hiding near a residence on Country Club Drive by Henderson Police K-9.

All four were taken into custody and all but Burse were transported to Methodist Hospital for treatment for minor injuries. Retha Esbaugh and her children were transported to Methodist Hospital by ambulance for treatment for minor injuries.

Morganfield Police Dept. is investigating the Robbery/Attempted Murder in Morganfield. Kentucky State Police opened an investigation for Fleeing or Evading Police - 1st Degree on the driver and occupants of the Cadillac.
