Fatal Crash on KY 1195 in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - Phyllis Jean Coffey age 36 of Campbellsville was traveling southbound on KY 1195, when she lost control in a curve. Ms. Coffey overcorrected her vehicle and ran off the right shoulder of the roadway and into a ditch. Ms. Coffey's vehicle then struck a culvert, causing Ms. Coffey to be ejected and the vehicle overturned. Ms. Coffey was not belted. Ms. Coffey was flown from the scene by Lifenet to the University of Louisville Hospital where she was pronounced deceased by the Jefferson County Coroner at 10:32 EST. Next of Kin was notified in person by the Jefferson County Coroner.
