Fatal Crash on Tatum Lane in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - John Wesley Hill, age 30 of Lebanon, KY was traveling east on Tatum Lane, when his vehicle left the roadway and travel down a steep embankment before coming to final rest upside down in a ravine. Mr. Wesley was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner. A passenger in Mr. Hill's auto (James Robert Spalding, age 18 of Lebanon, KY) was airlifted from the scene by Lifenet and was taken to the University of Louisville Hospital. Neither occupant was belted at the time of the collision.
