Injury Crash on KY 61 in Adair County

Date of News Release: 11/22/2006

(Columbia, KY) - Thomas Vaughn age 33 of Columbia, KY and Robin Kemper age 42 of Louisville were traveling in their vehicles on southbound KY 61. Ms. Kemper slowed her vehicle to make a left turn into a private drive and was struck in the rear of her vehicle by Mr. Vaughn's vehicle.

Mr. Vaughn was not injured in the crash. Mr. Vaughn's passenger (Ronnie Firkins age 53 of Columbia) was injured and was treated and released from the Westlake Hospital. Ms. Kemper was not injured in the crash. Ms. Kemper's passenger (Oma Taylor age 59 of Alben, MI) was not injured either.

All parties were wearing their seatbelts.
