Injury Crash and DUI Arrest on KY 1547 in Casey County

(Columbia, KY) - Abel Lopez age 24 of Liberty, KY was traveling north on KY 1547 and Lopez's vehicle left the road and struck an embankment and overturned. Abel Lopez was not wearing a seatbelt but was not injured. Abel Lopez's passenger; Christopher Suar age 5 of Liberty, KY was treated at the Casey County Hospital.

Abel Lopez was arrested for DUI Aggravating Circumstances, No Operator License, Failure to Maintain Insurance, Failure to Register or Transfer Motor Vehicle, Possession of Open Alcoholic Container. Abel Lopez was lodged in the Casey County Jail.
