Fatal Crash with Multiple Injuries on US 68 in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - Katesha M. Wise was traveling east on US 68 when she lost control of her vehicle and crossed the center line and struck Patrick L. Brown's vehicle which was west bound on US 68.

Katesha Wise age 19 was not wearing seatbelt and was airlifted to UK Medical Center. Passenger Angel S. Stone age 20 was admitted to Springview Hospital. Passenger Heather M. Garrett age 20 was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene by the Marion County Coroner. Passenger Morgan E. Mason age 18 was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected from the vehicle and was airlifted to the U of L Hospital. Mr. Brown age 27 was using his seatbelt and was admitted to Springview Hospital.

Assisting Trooper Boyd at the scene were Troopers Nathan Rhodes and Dewayne Holder. Other agencies assisting at the scene were the Marion County Sheriff's Department, Lebanon Police Department, Marion County Rescue Squad, Marion County EMS, Lebanon Fire Department, and the Gravel Switch Rescue Squad.
