Car Verse Pedestrian on KY 289 in Marion County

(Columbia, KY) - Melissa Thomas age 35 of Raywick, KY was eastbound on KY 289, came over a rise, the pedestrian was crossing the road from a cemetery. Ms. Thomas swerved her vehicle in attempt to avoid the pedestrian who went the same way attempting to avoid the vehicle. Ms. Thomas was not injured in the accident. But the pedestrian, Betty N. Guenther age 62 of Ohio was STAT Flighted from the scene to the University of Louisville Hospital.
