Injury Crash on KY 87 in Monroe County

(Columbia, KY) - Michael D. McLeary age 45 of Lafayette, TN was traveling westbound on KY 87 and his vehicle crossed over into the eastbound lane. Joel E. Brown age 55 of Lafayette, TN was also traveling on KY 87 and Mr. Brown's vehicle swerved in attempt to avoid a collision with Mr. McLeary's vehicle. No seatbelts were in use. Mr. McLeary was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Brown received minor injuries and was treated at the scene by the Monroe County EMS. A passenger in Mr. Brown's vehicle (David L. Krantz) was flown to Vanderbilt University Hospital.
