KSP Needs Your Help in Identifying the Driver of Fatal Hit and Run Crash on Mill Creek Road in Monroe County
Date of News Release: 09/03/2006
(Columbia, KY) - David Huff was traveling north on Mill Creek Road and his vehicle was stuck head-on by an oncoming vehicle that was traveling southbound. Immediately after the impact the southbound vehicle fled the scene and was later found abandoned in the area.
Mr. David Huff age 39 of Tompkinsville was pronounced dead at the scene by the Monroe County Coroner. Mr. Huff's passenger (Terry Kelsay age 47 of Glasgow) was treated and released from the Monroe County Medical Center.
The driver of the fleeing vehicle has yet to be located at this time. Investigation is continuing at this time by Tpr Michael Dubre and officers from the Tompkinsville Police Department and Monroe County Sheriff's Office.
