Escapee from the Marion County Adjustment Center Apprehended

(Columbia, KY) -
Jeffrey Hinkle was apprehended by the Kentucky State Police after Trooper Scott Brown spotted him jogging on HWY 55 near Airport Road in Washington County. Hinkle was apprehended with out incident & lodged in the Marion County Jail on charges of Escape 1st & Assault 3rd.

Hinkle is described as a 36 year-old black male, 5'-6", 130 pounds, with long, partially braided black hair, brown eyes, and a medium complexion. He has a tattoo of a panther on his chest and 2 small scars on his forehead. He was last seen wearing gray shorts and a white sleeveless t-shirt with unknown numerals on the back in blue lettering.
Hinkle has a long history of burglary, robbery, theft, and other property related crimes. He was serving a sentence from Jefferson County for burglary, receiving stolen property, and being a persistent felony offender.
