Wanted Subjected Captured in Clinton County, KY

Columbia, KY - Paul David Brown, age 27, of Albany, KY was arrested by the Kentucky State Police, U. S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, Albany Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff's Department and Kentucky Fish & Wildlife.

The U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force received a tip that Mr. Brown was in the Albany area. Agents from the task force located a vehicle that Mr. Brown was supposed to be driving. As units were meeting with Albany police officers, Brown was able to elude the Marshals. Albany police officers observed the vehicle Brown was driving and attempted to stop Mr. Brown. Brown fled from the Albany officers, which resulted in a pursuit. Brown was able to elude officers from the Albany Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff's Department and the U.S. Marshals by going through several fields in his 4 wheel drive SUV. After receiving calls about a vehicle matching the description of the wanted vehicle officers from the Albany Police Department and the Kentucky State Police located the vehicle hidden behind a barn in a rural area of the county.

This started a search which lasted several hours by the Kentucky State Police, Albany Police Department, Clinton County Sheriff's Department, U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force, Kentucky Fish & Wildlife, Wayne County Sheriff's Department, Pulaski County Sheriff's Department Helicopter, Pickett County Tennessee Sheriff's Department K-9 and the Metcalfe County Sheriff's Department K-9.

Brown was eventually located which started another lengthy foot pursuit through a wooded area. He was eventually located and arrested.

Brown was lodged in the Clinton County Jail on numerous additional felony charges along with the original felony charges from Jessamine County. These charges included receiving stolen property over $300, fleeing and evading 1st degree, criminal mischief 1st degree, persistent felony offender 1st degree. There were eight felony charges from Jessamine County.

Brown was driving a stolen vehicle out of Lexington, KY.
